Perfect product. I have 5 of them with out a single complaint. If I had to complain I would say the plastic anchors are a little sub par, but I used my own anyway. I also installed small rubber door stops behind each guitar because they are hanging in a hall way where they could get bumped into the wall. Under normal circumstances the guitar hangs plenty far enough from the wall (even a full size acoustic). Click on my name above for a picture of guitars hanging, shouldn't the manufacturer show you that?

I have several guitars and didn't want to put them on stands as I have dogs and when they play they don't pay attention to what they run into. I saw these and realized they were the answer. They are great. Easy to lift the guitar off of and keep them safe from frisky dogs. I also like the fact that the guitars are being displayed and not just in a case somewhere. Also since they are out no excuses on not picking them up to practice or play. :)

When I used to live in dorms I originally bought just regular non moving, non locking hangers for my 2 basses. Well, that didn't last long. I didn't have a whole lot of room in the dorm to move around in and was always hitting my basses and knocking them off of the hangers. I saw these in a guitar store one day and thought they sounded like a good idea. I hung them up and sure enough, they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. Sure, being clumsy as I am I still knocked into them, but since they have 45 degrees of rotation to the left and right as well as the locking feature, they never came off of the wall unless I wanted them to. These are great hangers. I'm actually in the process of buying another one right now for my third bass.

Great mount for guitar Jan 11, 2007
This is a very secure way to store your guitar up out of the way and off the floor. Padded arms protect the guitar and the self closing tabs make it so the instrument will not slip off and also prevents my little ones from pulling it off the mount. You need to lift the guitar to open the tabs then remove it from the mount. Very ingenious. I have two and I am completely satisfied.
